Hurricane Milton
The National Weather Service has placed Pinellas County in the potential path of Hurricane Milton, which is forecasted to become a hurricane.
All Pinellas County parks and preserves will be closed to the public beginning Monday, October 7 in preparation for the potential impacts of Hurricane Milton.

War Veterans’ Memorial Park is 112 acres in St. Petersburg. The focal point of this park is a landscaped Memorial Center featuring five plaques with official armed forces flags that commemorate each of the United States’ military branches. This park also has a Battlefield Cross, a Sundial and an Army Tank.
The park provides many shaded areas to view Boca Ciega Bay.
